............................................................ Here now comes the announcement of the Tasunke Witko tour.

    .
    .
Tasunke Witko, better known these days as Chief Crazy Horse, is of the Oglala Lakota &, in some circles, is one of the most maligned as well as
misunderstood figures in the rich history of mid-1800s era of Turtle Island, otherwise known as North America. With all going well, this tour is
planned to be flown in the RealAir Mark XIV Spitfire Racer, skins graciously & generously provided by Chris Brisland in Germany. Chris
recently heard my heart's pleas for a personal repaint via my FSX Forum & Screenshot Forum posts here yesterday & in less than 24 hours had
provided me with not one but three skins choices for my beloved Spitfire Racer: polished, brushed & matte aluminum finishes. What is even more
amazing is the fact that he even slept during some of this time period. Incredibly kind of you, Chris. As he refuses payment or recompense of
any kind, a personal donation to a prominent veterans organization is hereby made with another to come next month.

Am choosing the brushed aluminum finish for the Mark XIV Racer for this tour. In the days, Crazy Horse was legendary in many ways, one of
which was having the fastest horse in the land. Hence, the Mark XIV Racer. Am hoping to be the eyes, ears, mind & heart for Tasunke Witko
during the course of this Flight Simulator adventure as well as giving voice to what he may have to say in our present moment. From his birth
to his seemingly untimely death in his mid-30s while literally in the hands of some of his own people at the time, this strange man of the Oglalas will
speak his story & these will be words aimed for enlightenment, a bridge between cultures & spoken with Honor.

"Indian Time" is a concept these days that is often an excuse for tardiness as well as putting things off, though traditionally perhaps a more apt
meaning is: Being ready for whatever, whenever, however. It happens when it happens, no itinerary or schedule. Though my heart is ready to
share this tour, nevertheless it will occur when the time is right & in a good way. It will hopefully be much more than pretty screenshot captures
& lofty words. Giving a voice to Chief Crazy Horse here now is a monumental task, one in which Mari Sandoz must have felt the weight of
when she inherited the book project from another & chose to accept the challenge of her calling to give Tasunke Witko a voice. Likewise, may
Wakan Tanka, the "Great Power/Mystery", guide the intent of my heart in providing a voice to a courageous & fearless man who never let his
    people down.
    .
    .
..... Next day, next week, next month... the tour begins when it begins. Hecetu yelo. "It is so" / "It is the way it is". Hokahe! "Let's go!"

Thank you David for flying "Hapasloka Wanbli" textures. I am happy that you are enjoying life and I guess old Crazy Horse would enjoy flying with the eagles too (he probably is anyway by now...)

@ the rest of the world: these textures will be de-personalised and available soon, in "Indian Time" After all, despite the pleasure this hobby can give, the real world also needs me.

Jan, Gary, Leo, Chris & Dave- You all are appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to share respectful words.
*Edit- Asad, my friend, you snuck in there while this post was being written. Thank you for the favorable remarks as well.

Chris, as you can see, the radiator textures are now perfect. Ake pilamayayelo, tansi. For so busy a man,
giving your time so generously & taking nothing for yourself is truly a breath of fresh air here now. Am thankful.

    Default Appropriate ride

Although Crazy Horse’s horse was probably born on the North American continent, it had its heritage from the European continent, so flying a British Spitfire may just be the appropriate ride for your tour. I saw a couple other interesting correlations that can wait for another time and forum.

Edit * David, I am definitely looking forward to your tour.
