Default Carenado GA Aircraft for FSX

A few days ago I downloaded several Carenado GA airplanes for FSX. I know that you are supposed to be able to open the doors and baggage compartment to most of these planes, but have no idea what keys on the keyboard achieve this.

I assume there are some standard keystrokes for opening doors, perhaps windows, and baggage doors. I checked the PDF manual for the Piper Cherokee 180 and it mentioned this. It even gave a couple keystrokes, but they didn't work. The manuals are poorly written (except the parts that are directly from the POH), as is to be expected if written by someone for whom English is not his native tongue.

Can anyone give me the keystrokes necessary to open doors, engine compartments (if any planes have that feature), baggage compartments, windows, etc.? The planes I currently have are:

    Piper Cherokee 180
    Cessna C182RG
    Cessna C182Q
    Cessna C152 II
    Mooney M201J

All planes are the updated remakes specifically for FSX. I'll also be purchasing the 2004 versions of these same planes and others from Carenado. Are the keystrokes the same for the 2004 versions?

    Thanks for your help.

I only have the 152, and I know to open the windows (or doors, or even storage compartments) you just click on the handles in the VC.

However the doors still open with Shift + E + (1-9)

    Thanks, Dredgy.

I tried every one of the Carenado planes that I own, realizing that I had only tried to open the Piper Cherokee and couldn't. The Cessnas (152, 182Q, 182 RG) all open the doors with a click of the mouse on the door handle. The Mooney 201J and the Piper Cherokee don't seem to open their doors at all. The mouse never turns to a hand on those planes.

I didn't try the keys that you suggest as I didn't yet know them. I'll give them a try unless someone posts regarding those planes before I get a chance to try key strokes.

I couldn't open the cargo compartment on any of the planes. I also could not open any door from outside the plane. Only inside the cockpit in VC mode do the doors and windows work on the Cessnas. Does anyone know if the above is all correct or is there a way to open cargo doors or doors from outside the cockpit on any of the Carenado planes?

Also, I could not get the panel lights inside the cockpit to come on in VC mode at night on the Piper Cherokee. I haven't tried the other planes yet. So, guys, what about the panel lights in VC mode on these Carenado planes?

Other than the mild frustration of trying to find how everything works on these planes, I'm already in love with all of them. They are so much more realistic than the default FSX planes. Keep 'em coming, Carenado!!!
