With fs9, i collected my own sound files; cabin announcements, ect; and added or replaced the default ones. ( I added a cabin announcement when the landing gear was lowered, another when the door was closed, ect ) With FSX, I tried to install these same sound files; all wav.format; but nothing works. I started by removing the gear down voice and replacing with my own. I cant figure out why I dont get the same results.

IF ANYONE knows of a decent sound editing program, I would love to know. Ive got FlightKeeper, FDC co-pilot, a few others, but the sounds are rather cumbersome to use. I simply want to add my own sounds or replace the defaults. Should be simple! LOL. thanks guys.
