Default Fuel tank selector on Baron working?

    Hello

Sorry for starting posting at this forum from problems.
I've found that I'm not alone DF/F1 Baron lover.
But I havent found problem which I have with it mentioned here.
I can't make fuel tank selectors working. No matter what position - on or x-feed (except OFF) they are, left engine cosumes fuel from left tank, and right cosumes from right tank. that makes imposible longer fligts with one engine off as I can't use all fuel and after some time plane becomes unbalanced (thats natural).

has any one fuel tank selector working? how to make it working?
Operation Manual describes it as working and even recommend not to use it.

    Hi Chris et al,

I can't say that I've noticed this myself, and as one who is not a real-world pilot I guess I don't switch tanks as often as I should. Also, I rarely fly on a single engine in a twin, so haven't noticed this problem.

If this is indeed a "generic" problem with the DF Baron it may be a limitation of the way the fuel management has been coded. If so, then only Lou or one of the design team may be able to fix it. I suspect that it may have to be something we have to live with.

Wish I could help more, but other than flying the Baron and checking if this happens on my installation I don't have any other suggestions at this point other than to keep flying with both engines.

    Cheers,

    Alastair
