If FS puts in a bridge why wont exbuilder remove it ? I'd prefer to put my own bridge type in it's place.
Thnx

Exbuilder will not remove items that are in the "layer" where bridges are. You could use SBuilder to do the job - if memory serves, bridges are in "layer" eight.
I would offer to do that for you but just lost my SBuilder files and it will be some time before I set it all up again.
You can find SBuilder here:

Hope this helps.

I D/L it yesterday. When I get my Phd I'll try and use it. I'm amazed there isn't something that combines AFCAD and RWY12 to make this easy.
I used Afcad to make new land and position it with the poligon feature. If I could figure how to add a texture from scenery files I'd be 90% happy. Assuming I can make the bridge disappear.

This link will take you to several Tutorials regarding SBuilder. The one about installations is especially important.

The forum is great also.
The program is suprisingly easy to use when you get it installed correctly and get the hang of it.
Good luck!

After a couple of hours of trying to get started with Sbuilder and enjoying no success whatsoever and finding the tutorials and the actual program seem completely unrelated. The screens are not the same and the menus are different. I exercised the greatest gift the potential user has.........into the recycle bin with no regrets. This was more frustrating than Photoshop !!
Guess I'll just fine another way to achieve the objective.

I understand what you are saying - it was all mind boggling to me when I first started using the program also.
I expect to have FS2004 "up and running" again in a few days so if you wish, I would be happy to make a bridge exclude for you.
If interested, just e-mail me - opaflightsimaddict at verizon dot net - and include the exact coordinates of the bridge and perhaps a screenshot also. I would need that info to properly locate the offending bridge.
Hope to hear from you one way or another.
