    Default Help needed troubleshooting.

Can someone please try landing either the Default Cessna172 in FSX or the Cessna 152 from the Flying Club X add-on on Runway 06L at YPJT ?

Everything seems to go really well, until short finals whenmy trim seem to go haywire and the plane seem to float and refuse to descend. I think it is a problem with the default scenery (terrain bug? misleading 2D perspective due to width of runway?) but I cant be sure if it could be weather or poor technique (I doubt it, as it is the same EVERY time and I can land fine at other airports, but I am a casual simmer so am not 100% sure)

BTW, have not had time to try other aircraft.

Thanks for anyone who bothers to try this approach and can give some advice.

    Jim

    Welcome to the Forums!!!

try the flight with either real world weather or "Clear Skies," ive had the same with Runway 07 at PGSN (Saipan Int'l) and i guess it had to do with a thermal (rising column of hot air) that pushes the plane upward
FSX Acceleration ASUS G60VX, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit, Intel Core 2 Duo @2.13 Ghz, 4GB RAM, nVIDIA GTX260M 1 GB, 500 GB HD

As you suggested, there's a thermal right over the numbers. Makes climbing out pretty effortless though!

    Default perfect landing!

Thanks for the tip DeepSea345, u r a champ! Tried both clear skies and real weather and problem solved immediately.

I think previously, it re-curred each time cos i started from the same saved flight. At least my landing confidence is now restored. Thanks again

    Happy flying
