    Default A Classic From Shupe!

    What with Mike(Flyboy208)talking about Milton Shupe's newest project I just had an urge to break out one of my all time favorite Shupe planes and take it for a spin! The flight is Burbank,Ca. to Salton Sea,Ca. an oldtime vacation spot back in the 50's. (More In Reply)

    Am remembering her with fondness, as with all of Milton's fine work.
    Was the first to post a shot of her here years ago upon her initial
    release, in fact. You captured her well, Gary!

    Great shots Gary, it's been a while since I last flew the Howard 500 but I've had a lot of fun with it in the past.

    The Howard 500 is only second to P-38's as one of my favorites. I decided to do some browsing and found that I had missed this one.
