Default I want a bird simulator

    Microsoft bird 2003

The dragon in Drakken was fun to fly. It flapped it's wings and it could glide, but it wasn't very nimble. I'd like to fly some rather ordinary birds. Many of them are spectacular and quick. You'd need to be able to land on a branch or a wire that gives when you alight. You'd need fast flapping and complex errr... "feathering" of wings and of course the very popular tail spread and tuck just before landing. It'd be interesting to see how birds change their wing surfaces during flight and of course different birds have different capabilities and tools.

There are plenty of plane simulators, but I know of no bird sims. I long to be a peregrine. Jump off a branch, pull back my wings and dive and then pop them open to slow down just before striking. Fish catching would be fun too. I wonder what the cockpit would look like.

Oh. That's a nice one. Doesn't require much imagination to see the eagle in that. I saw the northern lights in the game as I flew from Juneau to Hong Kong. Here they are in real life over Iceland.
