FS2002 Patch????

Found another message thread mentioning a FS2002 Patch? But no reference as to where to find it.

Checked the FS2002 ezine site at MS but nothing mentioned.

Is this another terrible rumor???

But based on the rest of what was written in the Microsoft Newsletter site, there will be NO PATCH". Pretty obviouse when they say that the resources required to write and test patches is to great a waste when they need those resources on future development of the next retail release(paraphrased).

Yeah...I figured that much....but always trying to be a optomist...however, it runs well enough for me, that I am ok with it as is....that is, until 2004 comes out....then 2002 will probably not be good enough again...go figure :-lol

2K2 made some fairly drastic changes.
I guess the ones I feel were the biggies were:
AI Aircraft/ATC
AutoGen Scenery

What do you guess will be the 2 biggies most likely in the next version?

Maybe develop a true and well organzized Aircraft Database that does not depend on those cryptic Aircraft/Panel/Sound etc CFG files???? I HOPE SO! But that is probably not sexy enough.

What's your vote? Not what you want most, but rather what you think they will actually come up with.
