    Thumbs up Libya 1942

During the German African campaign a pair of 2 Me-109's from JG.27 are aloft - Oberfeldwebel Otto Shulz and the legendary Leutnant (at the time) Hans Joachim Marseille in formation flight at dusk over the North African skies ... The Star of Africa - this legendary Luftwaffe fighter pilot had an illustrious - yet short career..

    Real info here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Joachim_Marseille

    Enjoy! Mike

Excellent shot! Ole' Hans was an Ace's Ace, no doubt about it. He downed well over 150 British planes before
his demise in WW II bailing out after engine problems & striking his chest against the tail while doing so.
