Pros:
-Smoother weather transitions
-More realistic cloud and weather conditions
-Ability to get updated weather every 3minutes with internet connection enabled
The only con I can think of is the $30 registration fee. They do have a demo version for download on their website. I would recommend giving it a try. You won't regret it. This is one of the best add-ons available IMHO.

Its a great program, with great support. I had a hard drive crash and I was about to repurchase it, that's how much I think of it. Then, just in time, I got an email from the author with an updated version attached. I'm back in business!
The main advantage in my opinion is the automatic update. You can fly coast to coast and not be stuck with the weather you had at departure. It's also a kick to just park on the ramp at your home airport and watch a cold front blow through. You see the same weather on the computer as you see out your computer room window.
You can also check the weather at your destination before you depart or along the way. It translates the metars into plain english and provides a chart of winds aloft so you pick a benificial altitude.
You won't be sorry.

Thanks. I just registered my FSNav, and it seems like it costs 30 bucks for everything...FSNav, 1st class membership to this place, FSMeteo...:-) My clouds flicker in and out sometimes, and that kinda gets annoying in cloudy weather. Of course you can see the ground, but it seems as though there's no "in the middle". I'll have to check it out. ;-)
