The Triple Head 2 Go will drop your FPS a little bit, but not nearly as much as you'd think. I run 3 19" LCDs with the TH2Go and a 4th 17" LCD turned vertically for displaying charts and approach plates with Simplates 2004. It all runs pretty well and the extra peripheral vision really changes your simming experience. When I first got it set up, I had my wife sit down in front of the monitors and I flew her through downtown Seattle. She actually started to feel motion sickness. Personally, I've never had that happen to me as I'm sure most veteran simmers wouldn't.

Also, may I ask what monitors and type people are using? Reason is, I've been apprehensive about the quality of TFT/LCD monitors for producing good colour with smoothness. I've got an aging 21" CRT and may at anytime need to grab myself a new monitor.

    Here is mine
    Intel core 2 DUO E8400 3.00G/1333/6M/S775
    Asus Motherboard P5K-E with WiFi
    Prizion Qualified 4GB DDR2 RAM 800mHz - Kingston (2 x 2GB)
    nVidia GeForce 8800GTS OC 512MB PCI-Express
Matrox TripleHead To Go - Digital

I run FS9 and FSX, pretty solid, I have a different PC to run other program like FSCommander, RC4, or PFE, as well I have AS6 installed on the client PC, so my main PC run FS only to make sure I get 100% reliability.

It took me a wile to set it up properly, I have Nhancer as well, however , I still gate some jaggies in the spot view, due to the size of the pic. I have 3 19"screen Viewsonic, and I run it for 3080x1024. The jaggies goes when I use 1 screen only . But in the VC you don't notice as much. I also use trackir4 Pro.
    Hope this help

    Default 6 monitor setup

I am running 6 monitors. In fact the pics I just loaded do not have my new 3 - 24" Acer monitors. havn't got them on pics yet.
    These pics have 1 - 24" spector on top for over head, 1 - 22" and 2 - 17" H/P monitors for front wind shield (now they are 3 - 24's), Then I have 2 - 15" H/P monitors for other controls.

I have DX38T mobo, 4 gig Patriot ram @ 1,333, 3 ghz quad core @1,333, 2 88ooGT video cards and using the GoHead4 Matrox splitter for front windshield. I get from 15fps at airports of mid size and 40-60fps at 19,000 foot

I am running UTX, USA, canada and Europe. World enviroment 2007 and a couple of pay ware aircraft. Running pretty smoothly at this time. I use Vista 64 Ultimate. Also have 16 Go-Flight modules all working.

    Wow, nice setup hobbitrocks!

Do you need a special motherboard to use 2 video cards? I think I only have one PCIe slot.

Most current video cards have two DVI ports on them that can hooked up to different monitors. This can impact performance a little over just running a single monitor, but this depends on what yo uare doing as to how much. Usually it isn't too big of an impact.

Hobbit - Definately, nice rig - I've morph'd into Pavlov's pup. How many computers you using to run those and where did you get the throttle console - must be home built? Someday....
