Hello,

Got another quagmiricle question. Got some more video cards and am updating a 933 mhz p3 that is capable of doing a great job of running FS9, have another one that runs at 25 fps, locked at 25 fps, great fluidity etc. The other Dell I've mostly been using to play DVD's on, as it has a 32 mb TNT2 nvidia card that's OK but doesn't do a good job on FS9 so haven't used it for flight simming much. But I have acquired more agp video cards at 128 mb's and up, plus I've got a very ordinary ATI Radeon All in Wonder TV card that has video output to computer monitor or TV (Radeon 7200 based, Prefetch 64 mb ram, non-prefetch 512 kb ram). Just tested it, works OK, needed a TV, and the pci card is much lighter than the 250 lb 27 inch TV that blew out.

My question is, just out of curiosity, can I have both cards in there, agp game card, and ATI All in Wonder TV pci card? And by chance could the tv signal be outputted to the larger agp card? So maybe better tv picture and flight sim also? Or is the tv video signal just gotta come directly out of the All in Wonder TV card?

I'm running this on win 98se. BTW, ATI has an announcement that is extremely sweet. I used to complain about how HP announced that MS no longer gave HP (and everyone else) access to the files needed to make new drivers for 98/ME, so HP dropped their entire library of 98/ME drivers, even though customers like me might have several HP printers that were built when 98/ME were supported. -->> Any way, in contrast, ATI has an announcement on their driver website, that even though MS no longer supports ME, that they have independently continued to develop and improve drivers for ME. I suppose that also includes 98. That is great, finally a company with a heart!

Here is the link to that announcement:

I like ATI!

At this time I've got a media computer that is running on 98se. Would be a waste to use xp as it's expensive, and while modern Linux has a TV player software package built in, so far I'd have to install the Linux driver for the ATI card. Might do that later. Or perhaps Mythbuntu might have the ATI drivers already installed.

So in 98se, if I were to have both a game agp card, plus the All in Wonder, would I be able to get the tv signal out of the better agp card? Or no?
