yellow URLs

It's a small thing, but whenever a friend includes a web address (URL?) in anything he e-mails to me it comes out in a pretty yellow, almost impossible to read on a white background. From anyone else, a web address always appears in the standard blue.

Any advice on what might be the cause? Does he have an option that is "wrongly" set, for instance? Have you ever seen the like?

What email client do you use?

If it's only him, it's possible he's sending the emails in disgusting html format and specifying links to be that colour. send him one back and politely suggest he uses plain text for email.
