amen to that! ever been there for real? i have, many times, both as a pilot and a visitor - and youre right, i miss it a lot. would really love to see fly tampa (or somebody like them) do for meigs and chicago what they did for kai tak and hong kong.

WOW!!! what a shot, spectacular... I dont know about those boxes...i had boxes in my aircraft's lights once, and it was a videocard driver's issue..

ahh yeh, i miss that little place! i remember in my younger flight sim days practicing circuits around there with flight sim 95.

Too sad that Meigs Field is going down, was the starting Point for many Flightsim Flights when I first started back in FS 3.0 and FS 95... Great Shot!

I actually tried to take a 747 off from there without flaps (although I don't suppose they would help) back in FS98, when I was a complete newbie to Flight Simming.
