I wrote an e-mail to PPG Aerospace about two weeks ago. In case you're not up on aircraft contractors, PPG supplies all of the glass on Boeing and most Airbus jets.

After reading all of their logo use and trademark information, I requested a purchase of reproduction decals applied to all PPG Aerospace glass products as installed in Boeing aircraft. This was because I did not have the equipment or software to reproduce their freely supplied downloads for professional reproduction.

A week later I received a very friendly reply from a chap named Oliver who stated that he would be glad to help me with my 727 project. He wanted a photo of the decal and knew the layout, but wanted to be sure the logo color was correct for the Boeing 727. I sent him a photo of the real 727 #2L window with this decal intact for a reference.

A couple of days later he e-mailed me and said the decals were ready with the correct part numbers and random serial numbers for current products installed as replacement glass in the 727/737-200 aircraft.

This man went out of his way to help a nobody 727 sim builder and didn't ask for a dime to do it.

Cheers to PPG Aerospace and my hat's off to you Oliver.
