I am running windows XP pro, i was told to check my CPU usage, how do i do this ?
Also how do i go and stop certain programs from running in the backround so my computer will run faster ?
My system is a P4 1.6GHz and radeon 9500 video card

To check your cpu usage, use the keys, control- Alt-Delete to bring up task manager adn select the tab performance. This will give you the cpu usage. For closing programs I used to use a program you can download on the net called Enditall, it worked all right, but I don't use it anymore.

You can also check using Realtemp it tells you the temps of your cpu also the usage. Or Coretemp

Generally, about 17-23 fps away from major airports and about 9-12 fps at the majors. Fsx runs quite well for me. I have been using fs since fs4 so I have seen a large amount of progress. This is without a doubt the best I have used. When I got the present system fs2004 ran really well. Fsx is a little different in that although the frames per second is a lot less the sim itself runs quite smooth. I also use GEX,FEX and UTX. They all behave fine together and increases the realism.
