New Site about to open...

Here's a preview of what's in place of my old Contact Flap's Flap site - hope you all like it, and hope all who I may have had words with will visit, for I apologize if I were a little off. I'm normally not that way, and it was just a VERY bad day in general. Anyway, new site is Dedicated to a US History tour with Tile Proxy, one of my favorite new utilities, and hope you like it. Can you help at all with TileProzy? I have downloaded and installed and followed the directions to set up, but FSX freezes everytime I start up. I don't have a clue with whats going on. Thanks!

Thanks! Sure! No problem helping at all!

When it freezes on you, is it when the sim is loading? If so, it may seem to freeze - don't worry - it's not. It takes a loooong time to load from 28% to 35% on. I usually do some reading or something in that time, or review my flight notes, etc.

But if you want, I'd do a reinstall of Tile Proxy. Then download the preconfigured .ini file in step 2 of the tutorial here by Ed Truthan...http://edtruthan.com/tileproxy/tutorial/.

This had really helped me get going.

You can check out posts by me in the mean time. Just type in Ragtopjohnny in the search box to get you even more interested in it. I usually put down Tile Proxy after my flights in the screenshot forum headings.

Thanks! I will try again. I did reinstall and got the .ini file. The instructions said it would take 5 - 15 minutes to load, and I was stuck on 33% for almost 25 minutes before I finally shut it down. I just assumed it did not load. I'll let you know if I still need help!

Soon...kind of busy during the day and I'm getting things together and getting ready for seeing Financial aide for school, so it will be up slowly but surely. It's coming along nicely. Just wanted to give you all a preview.
