How to start freeflight with engines off...

Flights always start with the engines already running, now:
Maybe I've missed a setting somewhere but can anyone tell me how to start a freeflight from scratch... so I can go through the whole startup procedure.
So far I just switch the engines off first to start them manually,
bit out of the way I guess...

Park the aircraft, shut everything down, then on the bar at the top of the screen go to flight/save/save as default. After that every time you start free flight
the aircraft will be cold and dark.

please use the search function, this question gets asked about 3 times a week every week for years now



start a custom flight , switch off your engines, and anything else you want off then go to save, then select "make default flight".... Done !

When you've switched everything off, save the flight, ticking the "Save as Default Flight" checkbox. Then, next tome you start, everything will be cold and dark.
