Thread: Nav Charts

    Default Nav Charts

I was going to take the instrument instruction part of Learn to Fly. Prior to clicking Fly Now, the instructions said to review a chart prior to actually starting the flying lesson. How do I get this chart? After not being able to locate the chart with FS running, I exited FS then went into the program folders and found a folder titled Charts. Is this the only way to get & print the charts as I need them?

I think so, unless I've missed it too. Just print the whole lot off at once.
I fly through the valley of death, but I fear no evil, for I am at 80,000 feet and climbing. Let's powerdive and scare that poor soul in that Ultralight there.

sometimes, in the briefing area of a mission or lesson, you canview charts in the different tabs.

IIRC, this applies to Missions, but not to Lessons.

You click "Fly Now" or whatever, and the next screen is the summary of what you'll be doing for that lesson. Somewhere about middle way down is a section mentioning the chart, and there's what looks like an internet link that will open it up for you.

Unfortunately, some trained monkey's scanned them in, so they're really hard to read (at least on my screen)

I thought it was funny...(I'm sure ACES can take a joke!)

They probably can... the remark seems more like an insult, though.
