[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON Apr-17-02 AT 07:13PM (EDT)[/font][p]Has anybody out there had luck altering the flight characteristics of the AI planes. I can live with the wild ride on finals, I can live with jerky taxing but what I can't live with is the excessive landing rolls.

I'd really like to cut the 747 landing roll to something like 8000', the MD80 to 6000' and the 737 to maybe 5000'. None of the AI planes have trouble getting airborne (when they are supposed to be the heaviest) but all the airliners really seem to use way too much runway on arrival.

I used AFCAD to open YSRI, which has runway (7000 feet) quite capable of accepting 747s landing (I've seen it) but when an MD80 lands it overshoots by 1000' or more - then taxis slowly back to the airport.
