Thread: "Airport Identifier" cfg mod?

    Default "Airport Identifier" cfg mod?

OK, I admit to being in the first stages of senility, but I know that, somewhere, I saw a modification for the cfg file that provided airport id tags while in flight...They looked like the aircraft id labels, but were for the nearest airports...I have searched everywhere but can't find the mod again...Anyone know about this? Thanks,

Because Shift+U calls up the tailhook command in Acceleration, some folks have used Shift+N.

FS Insider also had a blurb on this. Lamont Clark is one of the unsung heroes of FSX - he also devised an applet to have the Acceleration Carriers show up in free flight (and multiplayer).

    Hope this helps.

    Default Airport Identifier cfg mod

The URL below is no longer active.

Does anyone remember the cfg file modification to get airport names on the screen while flying?
