Tail dragger touching tail down causes crash

Hi

I have a problem with a tail dragger bush plane when it touches the tail down the plane crashed through the runway.

It is a model created for cubdrivers749er. It has the large tunda type tires on it.

The model is Piper PA18 Cubdrivers.

Can anyone provide the tweak that will fix this problem.

This is a neat plane to land anywhere.

Only thing I could find on cubdrivers749er was a file on fsplanet that indicated the model's designer was J.E. Narcizo. If that's the case have a look in the flightsim.com library for "pa18fix.zip" which includes a contact point fix for the model. You may also be interested in "pa18_v3.zip" which apparently is the official release of the model by the author. I've been flying it a bit lately myself, really a nice airplane

. I noticed a loud 'thunk' when the tail came down prior to the fix, I had crashes off though. The thunk went away after I installed the fix.

Thanks for the reply Jim. I'm still trying to find the source of the plane.

I have attached a pic of the model and the real plane. The one you found came from AVSIM.

That must be where I got it from. I will see if the one you mentioned is a possible use to fix the AVSIM one.
