Thread: Gauges

  1. Default Gauges

I downloaded a jet fighter. The zip file contained a folder called gauges. When I run the plane, the gauges are not there. How do I install the gauges?

The simplest way is to move (or copy) those gauges into the gauges directory (or folder) in the main (root) FS directory.

Thank you. I think I did that. But I will try again.

I appreciate the advice, but I'm afraid that didn't work

I've never been in your situation; but the word is if you have problems with putting gauges into the gauge folder, you can put them into the panel folder within the aircraft's specific folder itself.

The gauges can be placed in either location, the main gauges folder or in the aircraft's panel folder.

Just be sure you are copying the gauges themselves, and not the folder they are in.

Thank you for your info. Unfortunately it didn't work. I tried moving them to the gauges sub folder, and I also tried moving the gauges into the aircraft's panel folder. No Luck.confused:

I don't think you're doing anything wrong, I think the aircraft's panel.cfg is messed up.

Please provide the exact name of the file and where you got it so one of us can check it out and see if we have the same problem.
