Domo-Kun

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON Sep-06-02 AT 06:13AM (EDT)[/font][p]Anyone ever heard about this show or creature ?? It is the subject of some rather bad cliches at Fark.com. Here's just a small bit of fact from a Domo-Kun website.

"One day an egg lands in a rabbit hole. The egg hatches, and Domo is born! Very quickly he and the rabbit create a bond through watching television.

Who is Domo? Domo-kun is a small brown open-mouthed monster who lives with an old, underground rabbit. Ironically, he really likes TV and beef with seasoned potatoes. He is gentle and strong. When he is in a bad mood, he farts. His entourage consists of Usajii (rabbit), Ta-Chan (Weasel) and Sinobu & Morio (bats)."

I looked up some of the videos and there are a few where he gets mad and just rips one off. They have the visual as a yellow puff of sulfer powder .... :-)

This is something that is rampant at many forums. Fark.com is one of the bigger ones for it. HardOCP used to be a bastion for Domo and photochopping. However, when they got rid of the General Mayhem forum, many left for other places. There are also some other places I've seen these type chops. They can be funny, but they can get old too.

When I used to live there they showed this character on NHK all the time.
