What is going on with the download system? Once I accept the Copyright notice the program tells me that it cannot connect. What is the deal? IS anyone else having this problem today?

I'm kind of surprise no one else has commented on this.
Apparently the site where most of our servers are hosted had a transformer explosion and fire which knocked out the facility, shutting down what I imagine is thousands of web sites. Our actual servers were not touched but the connection to the rest of the world was shut off. It appears that things have been fixed and are back to normal again.
Usually we have enough duplicate resources so that you won't even notice minor problems that we have from time to time, but something this major is hard to work around.
Well, an hour ago I couldn't get to the site, and now, when I can get to the site, this is the first thing I see in the FSX forum. I suspect a lot of folks are in the same situation, not yet knowing you're back.
Since I'd seen the report on the explosion in the Texas data center, I suspected that your outage might be related, and you've confirmed that. It's good they were able to get things up so quickly -- I know what a mess it can be trying to work around fires, missing pieces, etc. My congratulations to the data center personnel for recovering this site (and presumably lots more) so quickly.
