Missing FSX.CFG File

I do not have a FSX.CFG file on my computer. FSX still runs, but I wonder if all the settings are being set correctly. For example, I run MegaScenery X SoCal and the installation is support to set the FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.33 and this setting is completely missing (from any configuration file on my computer - I searched for this string with the Google desktop search). Is there any way to get a default FSX.CFG file set up and get FSX to use it? (I'm running FSX SP2.)

Did you search in the hidden folders? It is in

C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX

Go into "My Computer" at the top go to the "Tools" menu then click folder options then click the "View" tab. Make sure the check is by "show hidden files and folders".

As stated in the previous reply...

You simply cannot NOT have an "fsx.cfg" file. FSX creates the file automatically when you load it the first time (or any time that the file IS actually missing...

Found it. I had looked before and couldn't find it. Apparently the Google Desktop Search tool ignores cfg files.....
