    Default Cathay Pacific B744

Long haul flight from KLAX to Hong Kong.
Cathay Pacific purchased some of the Singapore's B747s. Here is a livery using the PW engine model.

Well, I love those long hauls. Earns me big money.

    Nice series.

That is one marvelous 747... and proves the fact that FS9 is still a great sim. I reintroduced FS9 to my PC again and I am still having a lot of fun with it.

    thanks everyone.

Absolutely right on Louis......FS9 with all the great addons, utilities, etc....and superb frame rate with everything maxed on my system nothing can replace that.....i don't care if you put X-plane verXXX and FSX together.

well, i am off again for another long haul to Sydney from LAX on Qantas.
    My next screen shots.

    best regards,
    Kin M.

True words spoken Kin... FS9 still has a lot to offer in the way of addon planes (the defaults are crappy), addon scenery and very good frames. I was debating whether to reload it or not after I built a new PC but with the many addons on my bookshelf for FS9 (nevermind the 100s of dollars spent) it turned out to be a no brainer. Seeing shots such as yours confirms my action. Having said all that there are things I like about FSX also such the autogen density with real road structure but at a substancial frame cost (I did not realize how scarce the autogen is in FS9 even at full settings until I compared it to FSX). Bottom line; FS9 has many years left in it especially if you are not running a higher end PC.

Another good reason to say that FS9 isn't dead, not anytime soon. I don't care what these FSX fanatics say.
