Hello there,
I have some few questions. I tried to search out this forum but didn't found anything about it (yet). I use the FS9 version or Archer III under Windows Vista.
Autopilot
I can't disconnect my auto-pilot... either by pressing the brake key or the joystick brake button. How may I resolve this issue ?
The auto-pilot is not disconnecting when using commands, is that a feature or a bug ? I don't know so much about 3 axis auto-pilot on piper and don't know if it disconnect automatically when you push, turn or pull the yoke.
Turning coordination
Maybe I'm a bad pilot but I find really hard to maintain altitude when turning with this plane, even I was able, if I do not go ahead of the turn coordinator limits to make a stabilized pattern around an airport... (EDIT : I reduced slightly my realism parameters and I was able to improve this... I had less need to use my rudder to maintain altitude).
The auto-pilot is unable to maintain correctly altitude and this lead to major loss or increasing of the IAS when you use it to manage a turn (I think the bank angle is too high for the Piper). I saw that this plane don't like so much steep turn (more than 30°). (EDIT : Do I have to use manually the rudder when the AP is flying to manage a stabilized turn ? Because "coordination" is deactivated as long as I have rudder pedals)
Thank you for your help around these problems.
Regards.
