Smile trouble using MS config utility

Hello Folks, for a long time i have been using MSconfig as suggested in 'Tip & Tweaks' to run FS9. It has worked very well until recently when suddenly when i try to stop services (After hiding all Microsoft services), i get a message saying "a service cannot be shut down unless i log on as Administrator". I checked & i am logged on as Admin. I can't figure out which service is causing the problem. Any ideas please?
    Cheers

    Default

    What operating system is this?
On Vista (and maybe on XP Home as well) the administrator account does not have rights to everything, especially to operations like closing services or deleting files that will leave the system in an unstable or corrupt state.

    Default Trouble using MSConfig.

I have XP Pro. Yes i understand what you mean about some services causing problems if shut down. But i have used this method (as advised in one of the 'Tips & Tricks" series) for several months with no problem. Part of the procedure is to tick the box 'Hide all Micrsoft Services'. This has been very reliable upto just recently. If i knew which service is causing the problem, then i could isolate it. Thanks.
