AI Problem

Hi there i was jst wandering if anyone could tell me how to fix my default ai traffic in fs9. It was working fine until now; it's jst suddenly stopped! I'd appreciate it if someone could help, thanks!

Any chance your AI traffic is not "activated" ?

Check your Settings / Traffic and be sure Airline or General Avaition (or both) box is checked and the slider is not at the extreme left.

There are other things which can be checked but try that first.

both boxes are checked and the slider is set to 100%.

but still no luck

Hi,

Look for the file called Traffic030528.bgl in the FS2004/Scenery/World/scenery folder. It has to be there for default traffic to work.

Retrace your steps... What was the last thing you had done when it stopped? Did you install an aftermarket AI package?

Can't remember what I did but I didn't install an aftermarket AI package!

have reinstalled fs but ai traffic still isn't there!

I would now double check the following:

1. That the default traffic file is on your Scenery/World/scenery subfolder.

2. That all the default aircraft are in your Aircraft folder.

3. That you have Traffic (both GA and Airlines) enabled and the percentage slider is at 50% or higher.

If all that checks out, then I would double check your Scenery Library entries to be absolutely positive that it contains an active entry for Scenery/World. It is normally the very last entry if viewing the library entries.

If for some reason it is not marked as active (it should be that way by default) then no traffic would be seen.
