    Thumbs up Aloha Boeing 737-200

Climbing out of Honolulu bound for Hilo. I wish the best of luck to the employees of Aloha Airlines. RIP: Aloha Airlines 1946-2008.

Sad to see this airline go. Awesome livery, they will be missed...

    Too bad!

My parents flew on Aloha a couple of times and my mother said they received excellent service from them.

Thanks for the nice screen shot of the now-gone airline, American.

They will be missed in the real skies.

It was kind of you to think of the employees, chum.

Good shot. I imagine the livery will be around for years in FS.

Really great tribute my friend to such a beautiful, fantastic airline. I was really saddened when I heard the news. I just feel so bad for each and every employee, they have to start all over now, such a shame.

I had the privilege of working with Aloha here in SAN. It always was such a pleasure to work their flights. The pilots always had a smile on their faces and always would stop by and say hello while they were doing their walk-arounds. The flight attendants would also have smiles on their faces, and you could really tell the crew loved their job. Every time I see the Aloha livery it brings a smile to my face because it reminds me of the beauty of the Hawaiian islands. I loved watching happy passengers board knowing they were off to paradise.

Now their birds won't be flying, and it will be such a shame. I'll keep those great memories I had of working with Aloha hopefully for a long time. To all the great employees I wish you all the best of luck in finding your dreams. I hope you are able to find happiness, you all deserve it.

Thanks again Tyler for this tribute, it means a lot!!!!
    Take Care,
    Dave
