    Default DC-3 Over Victoria Falls

Excuse the lack of new screenshots from me lately, I haven't had much time for FS, but I'll try and get my act together in the next few weeks. Here are some shots from a flight I did a while ago over the Victoria Falls, in FSX. As far as I'm aware, everything is default except I'm using an addon terrain mesh since the default Africa mesh is very poorly detailed..

Airborne from Victoria Falls airport in Zimbabwe, this is a place I've visited in real life so it's nice to be able to return in FS, particularly given the unfortunate current state of Zimbabwe.

Banking away towards the falls which are just a short distance from the town and airport.

    Cruising.

    Arriving over the river valley.

Tracking west towards the falls themselves.

The falls form the boundary between Zimbabwe and Zambia. There is a bridge across in real life which is the border crossing.

    Over the falls.

Giving the passengers a good view.

Now on the Zambian side, and arriving over the town of Livingstone which is our landing destination.

    On approach to Livingstone airport.

    Landing sequence in the reply...

    Default DC-3 Over Victoria Falls

    ...the rest:

Touchdown. Right wheel first, I can't remember if there was a crosswind or I just didn't land straight!

Keeping the tail up to maintain rudder effectiveness.

    Taxiing in to the terminal.

    Parked up.

That's it for this thread, hope you all enjoyed the shots. Comments are welcome!

Hey Leo, excellent set of shots, mate!

Look forward to some more, when you have the time.

Nice looking trip and great shots! I lived in Nairobi for two years back in the early 70s and there is a lot of nice looking territory there.

    Thanks guys.

Jan - It's just the default "ex-military" livery, not sure if it's based on any particular real world air force.

Larry - Might have to do some FS aviating around there as well then.
