Unhappy White Screen w/ Addons After Acceleration

I have been reading many posts regarding problems with Acceleration. However, I couldn't seem to find anyone who has the exact same problem as I have been having. After installing Acceleration, I get a blank, white screen which covers the entire picture when using most of my addon aircraft in FSX. The screen does not always appear right away. When I switch views it shows the aircraft for a second and then the white screen takes over. It goes away for some aircraft if I zoom out far in tower view or if I use the 2d panel view. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this issue? Please Help! I am using an Asus 8800GT 1GB Graphics Card w/ 4GB of Ram.

    Thanks,
    ~M

Dx10 disable switch is under Settings/Customize/Graphics, on the right, under Global Options.

Ok that's not showing up under my options for some reason. I only have Global Texture Resolution, Lens Flare, Light Bloom, Advanced Animations, and Information Text Options under that section in Global Options. I am running XP Professional on this PC. Could that have something to do with it?

You need Vista for DX10. If you have Tool Tips On, try turning those Off.
    Thanks,

I got it now, for some reason I have to turn off the Light Bloom option under Global Options in order to get rid of the white screen. I suppose Acceleration comes with some more advanced light textures which aren't supported by addon aircraft very well or at all. I guess I'll just turn it back on when using Microsoft aircraft if I want to get the full detail.

    Thanks Everyone for Your Suggestions

I've been having this same problem. Im going to go and try turning off the light bloom now.

Does anyone know why this might be the culprit?

    FSX with acceleration.
8800 GT (the 648? mb version)
    4 gigs ram
    XP pro.

Only happening with my freeware. I know this is a safety thing that alot of developers use to prevent stolen software (payware) but its happening on my freeware???

All views except tower. Im sick of flying remote control aeroplanes

FS9 models that're imported into FSX will often not display properly because their textures, and more importantly material settings within the .mdl file itself are incompatible with FSX + SP2.

This has been mentioned here many, many times over the past months.

I searched. This is one of the most relevant posts that came up.

    Thanks for the help.
