Departing Cambridge Airport
Is there anyway to set the capture utility in FSX to shave the pictures at the native resolution that FSX runs at. Im running at 1280x1024, the pictures seem to be saved at 1024x768.

Nice ones Matt![]()
Great pics Matt! If you use a third party capture program, it could probably be configured that way. Many use another program to resize the pics before upload.

Thanks for the comments

Matt, I use freeware Irfanview (do a google search) to resize and configure the default FSX captures. I know others may recommmend a couple other free programs.
Cheers

Hello guys!
Matt, it's Glenn here... I use the new freeware utility SNAPSHOT v2.2, available on AVSIM & Flightsim.com. This little program is awesome! Very easy to setup & run. ALWAYS start it first, before Flightsimulator. All you have to do is hit "PrntScrn" button while flying... the pic. is saved automatically to a folder you have preselected.
The Irfanview software mentioned by Larry is also good. I have it as well.
Also, I highly recommend a freeware program called EZThumbnail. Google it. This is the software I use for making "smaller size" files of ALL of my digital photos. It is extremely easy to use, and fast! The possibilities are unlimited.
Hope this information is helpful.
My email is hardcub2beat@carolina.rr.com if you need help.

Glad to see another FSX user. Great shots. Good luck with your image software quest.
