Default How to read Tom's Hardware - VGA Charts

In this guide, with my 8600GT videocard I should get about 23.2 fps, in the settings - 1024x768x32, in game AA, in game AF, Ultra quality.

I guess the Ultra Quality means the setting for graphic.

I'm not sure what "in game AA" and "in game AF" means ?

Someone that can tell me what it means ?

    Just to add a bit........

"In-game" means setting or enabling AA and/or AF within the game as opposed to setting it in the video driver.

    AA setting examples for FSX:
To use "in game AA", click Settings and placing a check mark in the box next to Antialiasing. Then, open the control panel for your video card and set AA to Off (or to "enhance the application setting").

The opposite procedure to that would be to select AA to "off" in FSX and then open the video card control panel to select the desired AA level.

Yes, do but don't forget you need to match the hardware they test on....probably a core 2 duo line......prolly the extreme end....
