Can anyone help? Or is there already information posted somewhere on the board regarding this?
Thanks!

When posting a new thread click on manage attachments.
You will see this window.
In upload file from your computer, click on the browse button and navigate to where you keep your images , preferably in JPEG format.
Once you have done this, click on the upload button to upload your images to Flightsim.com
Please not you can only upload one image at a time and the maximum number of images is ten.
This method will show just the thumbnails, which other forum members can click on to show the full size image.
Hope this helps, if not pm me and I will try to explain some more.
Davegrist,
In the How To section ("How to and FAQ" in the main menu) there is an excellent tutorial by Jeff Snyder called..."How to create and share screen shots". I'm sure you'll find it very helpful. I use FSScreen to capture the shots.
Keep the blue side up,

Thanks!
Dang, Smutley is such a good teacher, pix and all.
I use the photobucket method.
1. get you pictures to the right size for photobucket
2. upload to photobucket (so far I have loaded hundreds and no space limits appear)
3. Each picture will have four "URL"-like addresses below it. Copy the bottom one.
4. Go to your Screen Shot Forum posting and past the "URL" anywhere you want to see the image.
5. When you submit, the picture appears whereever you put the URL. Take a look at my postings to see if you like the possibilities.
6. You still have the 10-image limit on SSF/submission, but you can do multiple submissions on the same thread.
happy landings.

Hi!
The easiest to use the forum like it was meant to be used (hi, you, moderators!) seems to be:
-enter the post form
-manage the text of your post
-then manage the pics:
.call 'Manage Attachments'
.upload your pics
.for each pics loaded, a referencing line appears
.complete the uploads
.right-click each line and copy-paste the address there (usually looking something like: http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/attach...&d=...........)
.paste the addresses in your text where you want the pics to appear
.frame each addresses with those tags: , with right of it
.check with 'Preview Post' whether 'verything's Okay
.possibly fix any error
And... here you are. Pics do appear in the post, where you wanted to. The only, inherent to the forum system, limit is that you'll get in any case thumbnails of the pics at the end of your post
The community hoping to see your posts soon
Cheers

Well explained Gerard. I must admit I get lost for words sometimes.![]()
And this is the best way to display your images. Hosting them off-site usually means a lot longer load time. Especially with Photobucket and ImageShack. When I look at a thread/post, and see that the image is coming form Photobucked, I usually back out, and go on to the next post.

Oh! You're welcome. The post was absolutely not meant against anyone. I just wanted to state the easiest way in my sense to post. I believe that when the new forum went on, we all more or less got lost about LOL, as now that the dust settled somewhat, it really seems that's easier to post using the form only (with just the cost to copy/paste the addresses)
Cheers
