Doing ok. Hanging in there. Getting ready for the golfing season which will
start in a couple of weeks. How have you been.

Doing OK for now. Still out of work, though, and may be living in my car after
the end of April. Just takin' it day by day.

Golf season starts in two weeks! Don't tell any of my friends that. They think
they've been playing golf all winter (course that happens a lot down here in
    Florida!) hehe

Went to the last round at Bay Hill Sunday. Got within about four feet of Tiger
Woods - didn't do a thing for my golf game! By brother and I have tickets to
the final round for the Player's Champ this Sunday as well. This time I'm
    taking a chair!

    You're learning Art! Heh,heh.
I don't mind playing golf with someone who drives it 300+ yds, so long as he's
wild as hell, which most of a local club big hitters are. But Tiger, 300+ and
straight down the middle. That's hard to handle...

I've been doing contract accounting work for Accountemps for the last two years
after too many years in customer service and retail management. I had hoped
that the right permanent position would have presented itself by now, and I
think it would have if the economy had stayed strong. But the last year has
been very tough. I've only had 3-4 good assignments and have been out of work
for days or even weeks at a time between them. My last job ended in early
    January.

I'm going to move out of this apartment next month and one way or another will
pay much less rent after that. If I have a job within a month or so, I'll
probably get a room in a home somewhere around here. If not, I may get the hell
out of the Bay Area all together and look up some old friends or relatives
hoping to find a place to stay while I make a fresh start. Remember the movie
"Then Came Bronson"? I may end up getting on the road, ending up where I end
    up.

I don't recall ever seeing that movie. Hang in there Charlie. It's always
    darkest just before daybreak. :-))
