When flying using a weather generated program such as real weather or squawkbox
my frame rate drops drastically almost to the point of locking up the computer
    when flying thru clouds.
Has anyone encountered this and is there a solution.

    Thanks jerry

Download the FSUIP program here at flightsim. That'll help some. Weather is a
    frame eater either way.

While it isn't a total panacea, the best possible results are obtained by using
    FSUIPC.
