hey ok here is my situation: i have the internet at home, but it is on an old,
slow computer(not the computer I use for flightsimming). my parents are dead
set against hooking the internet up to the faster computer. so, i download all
the cool planes i want, then save them on a floppy disk. Then, i see this cool
american 727. 18 megs! all i want is the panel, because i have a cool northwest
    727. so i want to be able to download and unzip the american 727, take the
panel folder out, and zip the panel folder up, then take it to the other
computer. is it possible to zip up something and save it to a disk using winzip
    (or any other unzipper)? Thanks

The short answer is yes, BUT, the panel may well have a large bitmap file
which, even when zipped, may be too big for a floppy. I think I'm right in
saying that bitmap files are not the best for compressing/zipping.

You don't say which version of winzip you use. I think 8 is best. The only real
answer is to try it. But yes, it is possible to take the panel out of the file
    and use it separately.

    Don't know whether this helps.

I guess you live in the states. If you're in the uk I'll download it and put it
onto a cd for you. Let me know, on acro103010@aol.com

Yes! Examine the documentation with WinZip - it can "span" disks.
