G'Day Everyone ...

I am having massive problems with my Microsoft Precision Pro joystick. I am
running Windows XP and I have been to the microsoft sight.

They say XP has the drivers I need and the drivers are digitally signed
(requirement of XP).

I have FS2000 , FS2002 and Aerowix and I can not use any with the ease I used
to!! No Joystick!

If anyone can offer any advice or help ! please let me know

What kind of interface does your existing joystick require? I installed both
FS2002 and FS98 on my laptop (which runs with XP) and it recognizes my Force
Feedback stick (with a USB interface). I don't think you can add one of those
cards with the 15-pin gameport - I don't think it'll support that.

That's strange Alex. With XP Home, I just plugged in M Precision Pro Joystick,
and it's run perfectly from day 1. I didn't install any drivers from MS.

Ironically, when I purchased the Force Feedback joystick there were warning
signs all over the place INSTALL SOFTWARE FIRST! That kind of warning appeared
at least three times.

Have a look at this tutorial on my website.
I created it specifically for the Force Feedback joystick with FS2002 under Win
XP, but it can also be applied to your joystick, and should work for both
FS2000 and FS2002.
Make sure that if your sound card has an option for changing settings of the
midi port, if you have MPU401 listed, make sure that it is selected.
