it!. I get the message "insert the correct disc...". Does it have a copy
    protection?

    Best regards from Venezuela.
Yes. If you're lucky, Jesse will show up and tell you about CLONECD. That's a
software utility that will let you copy the CDs.

Hi, Art...just happened to be surfing thru and saw your reply. If Jose is still
with us, he can get a trial version of CLONECD from www.elby.de which is the
home of the program. If he likes the program well enough, he can go ahead and
buy it...but it really isn't necessary. The demo works pretty well with just a
    few restrictions.

    Good Luck

Thanks, Jesse. I knew you would most likely be lurking somewhere nearby! I have
a zipped copy of the trial version, but have never used it. I do remember
numerous times, however, your comments about it and that it *did* work.

Looks like Microsoft got the right idea with FS2002. It dawned on me the other
day that it's never asked me for a CD!

Sorry, Art, but it's not write protected. Any cd writer software will copy it.
I did it last year and never took the original out again.

Of course it does! But it can be circumvented with the program that Jesse
reccommended. I don't remember the name.

Ahem! A better answer would be, "Yes, it does!"
When was the last time you were able to copy your disks without some special
    software?

*Any* cd-writer software does *not* copy the CD. Why do you think there've been
so many posts here asking about it? I'm reasonably computer literate and own
three different CD burners - none of them will copy the CDs (properly) with the
standard software that came with them!

I should add - one of them will copy the CDs, but the CDs won't work - that
doesn't count as copying - does it?

Hi Art, the question was, "does it have copy protection?", not "how?". Or am I
missing something here (not for the first time). And I tell you (and Bob) that
I copied it using CeQuadrat and used it thereafter.

Hello again, Art. See my last post. Now, FS2002 is a different kettle of fish.
I couldn't copy one of the CD's using CD Writer software, so I copied the whole
CD to the Hard Drive and then made a CD from there. It seemed to "copy" whereas
it wouldn't copy from CD to CD. Have to admit, though, that I haven't tried
    them yet, so maybe .............
