I've been attempting to sim for a few months now. I have come to a realization
that I am not doing very well. My only background in aviation is that I am a
skydiving student and that does not help too much. While playing online one
time, and getting tired of constantly being blown out of the sky in
rookie/newbie rooms I went into a free-fly no shoot room. Once in there a
player who I forgot the name of regretably was kind enough to coach me in the
proper procedure for landing and was gonna help me learn to do maneuvers but I
unfortunately had to go. Being as I read the manual and have played the single
player version to a point that I feel I'm doing good, I can't figure out why
I'm getting mopped out there in multiplayer. So here, finally, is my question.
Is there a site or place or game out there where newbies/rookies could go to
learn the finer points of dogfighting in a coaching environment? For instanse
all these online players seem to me to be able to change directions a million
times faster than I can. If anyone has any information or ideas PLEASE send
them my way. I'm tired of being everyones practice drone.
Thanks ahead of time,
John S.
