Help ! When I'm running the game the motion is smooth for a few moments then
stops suddenly and returns to being smooth. It alternates from smooth to
stopping mementarily. Of course this makes it impossible to play. This is
something that has never occured before. I have an NVIDIA TNT2 M64 and a sound
blaster pci128. AMDK6 with 128 megs of ram. I have reloaded the game twice.
DX7a shows 128 megs of ram. I would be most appreciative of any suggestions. If
you need more info please write.
You might try clicking the Multimedia icon in the control panel, and lower the
audio hardware acceleration down a notch or two .. my sound card is nothing
fancy, just stock equip on this computer, but I get very little jerk since
    making that change

It sounds like you have some program running in the background. Have you
added any new software lately? Click ctrl alt del and the popup box will show
everything that is active. Also if your virus scan program is set to scan all
files upon opening it will cause CFS to slow down. Good luck PL
