I would like to place a passenger via Photoshop so it will show up in the rear
view(Shift-2)of an aircraft. Does anyone know where the .BMP file is for the
rear view to an aircraft so that I can add a picture to it? Is that possible?

    hi Sandy, (a/c = aircraft)
as I understand it, the various views for each a/c are set up by the a/c's
designer or artist. I don't remember any of the standard a/c having passenger
seats, so I'm presuming your talking about an add on a/c. If you look inside
the textures folder for the a/c you want to edit, you shud fins a pic, or pics,
which inculde the interiour cockpit/cabin area. These may well be in #AF
format or r8 format, and you'll need a converter to change them into .bmps so
    you can edit them.
converters for both are on this site, and many other sites too.
If this doesn't help, try nipping over to the designers forum and asking them
if they can help you out. Though I wouldn't hold my breath, I only ever got
one reply to a post on the design forum, and that was from a friend!! (it ain't
that they're too mean to help, it's just that they're too busy designin new
    a/c)
hope it helps ya, have fun

Andy, thanks for the tip. I think I'll try my luck at the Designer's Forum.

    Hi Sandy,

    there's a FS98 Ju-52 with a beautiful rear view here at FlightSim.com. The rear
    view file is ju52p3v1.zip
You also need JU52P1V1.ZIP and JU52P2V1.ZIP for the aircraft. The designer
includes his rear view as an additional panel. Nice idea. You can switch the
view on and off, but a true rear view is not possible other than with FS2000 I
    suppose.
