I need a 617 Sqn Dambuster Lancaster - preferrably AJ-G Guy Gibsons Acft.
Can anyone help me with this?

Here, the discription of the "dambuster" lancaster which I belive I got from
    this site.
"This Avro Lancaster Mk.III (Special) was one of 23 aircraft modified to carry
the famous Wallis mine. This machine, flown by Australian Flt. Lt. Les G.
Knight on the night of May 16/17, 1943, dropped the mine that breached the Eder
    Dam."
I don't have the "readme file but the info in the "Air file" stated it ws made
byesigner: Roy Chadwick___Flight Shop Model: Andrew W. Hall.
Amyway I don't think it would be any problem to re-paint this one as the craft

    flown by Guy Gibsons.

I agree, it is amazing, probably the most famous bomber of all time. Could do
a great adventure series based on those. Could have sink the Tirpitz, dam
busters, and more. Would be a most popular addon or download. Hopefully you
will find what you are looking for.

Gary,That would be an excellent idea to have a full DAMBUSTER MISSION from
Scampton thru to the dams. There are some good scenery files for just that with
fs98 but it would be better in cfs with all the actions.Perhaps someone could
    take up the challenge?

    Colin,

Unfortunately I am not that clever, so will have to wait and see what someone
else does in that respect. I think you need Excel and a few other things to
design a feature laden mission, but not sure. The damage profiles on the dams
would be interesting. Anyway, have a very happy christmas.

This Has to behe one you are lookink for, the file name is "Dambustr.zip"

It's a very nice model, hitting the spoiler key loads the mine into postion
for "bombrun", yet in CFS you can't really use the mine.
You Can also find a dambuster scenery on this site. It' called "Dambusters
    Version2 created by Tom Brancato.
Here's a excerpt from the Readme file:

This is a tribute to RAF 617 Squadron and Sir Barnes Wallis who together
were able to create this remarkable feat of flying and scientific achievement !
This was considered by many to be the most dangerous and complex bombing
mission of WW2. Of 19 aircraft on the raid , 8 were lost with 53 aircrew
    killed.

W/C Guy Gibson won England's highest award, the Victoria Cross, for this
action. Two CANADIANS who flew this mission , F/Sgt. WC (Bill) TOWNSEND and
F/Sgt. KW (Ken) BROWN were both awarded the even rarer decoration , the CGM
(Conspicuous Gallantry Medal) by the King of England.
Two dams , the Moehne Dam and the Eder are included in this scenery.

Do a search under "Tom Brancato" and you should find it.

    Happy Holidays
