Default Abacus Pacific Theatre, 2nd thoughts,,7.0,,It's a keeper

I downloaded Abacus PTEnhance.exe for Abacus Pacific Theatre and pulled off a
surprise attack on Pearl Harbor this morning. Since then I have flown 3 other
Abacus missions. It was a great improvement over the non-enhanced version. The
planes flew well enough to suit me. I will leave the flying characteristics of
the planes to you experts but I still have some concerns. The frame rate
although improved was still low. With my Pentium III 500 Mghz system I was
getting only 12 to 20 FPS. Compare that to the regular CFS, 35 and up to over
100 FPS, and you can see that there is much room for improvement. One thing
that really bugs the hell out of me is the way that they (Abacus) splatter
their name around all over the place. Every dam airplane folder and subfolder
and mission and Lord knows what all has their "AB" plastered and embedded in
it. Reminds me of a photographer that I hired to take some pictures for me.He
had this little stamp that had his name, phone number and address on it. He
must have stamped that thing 15 times on the back of each picture. I told him I
would not buy the pictures. It's going to take a lot of work (unless I decide
to live with it) to clean up the mess. Those of you who do not know or care
about such things, this must seem like a very small matter. I don't like
clutter ,in ,on ,or around my computer. Every time I want to work on my files I
will have to look at Abacus. If they think that is good advertisement,,,well
,,,It won't work on me. All in all, I will give the Pacific Theatre a 7.0 on a
1 to 10 scale. It would have been a 7.5 but the name thing got me all worked
up. I will keep it on my system at least for now.
If you haven't got it, go out and get it and don't forget to get the
enhancement offered at the Abacus web site......maxwood..........

there, there is no such plane as "Abacus Mitsubishi A6M2 Zeke". I don't like
