Thanks to all who have been posting info on CFS. I think I'm going to save my
money and not bother buying CFS until I get a better system. From what I've
gathered anything below a 200 pentium will run CFS but frame rates are
extremely low with 800x600 res. and detail set in the middle. Don't think
anything below 10fps is really useable and I'm not to keen on running 640x480
on a 17 inch monitor. Have to say I'm a little disapointed in Microsoft, I
rather they just say you need a 266+ wouldn't have been so excited the past
couple months. Bummer, was looking forward to shooting some of you people down

BTW: my system is a 166MMX 32mb ram 8mb Voodoo with a Mitsumi CD drive(not good
I gather) if anyone thinks I'm wrong or right wouldn't mind hearing about it.
I'm sure there is alot of you out there with comparable systems.

I loaded CFS on my 24x Mitsumi with out a problem. Also, your Voodoo card
will help out alot. It takes alot of work off your processor. I have played
this on my 200mmx,Voodoo2 12meg,65 meg ram, and on a PII450, dual Voodoo2, >128
meg ram. The only difference is a 35% increase in frame rate. A good gaming
system would be a Celeron 300A or 333, Viper 550 16meg, 64meg ram, on a Abit
BX6 or HX6 M\B, I have overclocked the celeron's to 450+Mhz.
