Hi all,

I absolutely love Alain L'Homme's moving parts P-51's, but feel their flight
model is underpowered and not suitable for CFS. I now have Big Beautiful Doll
and Jumpin' Jacques flying with the default CFS P-51 flight model, and the p-51

guns, not the default ammunition.

I quite simply copied CFS files p51d.air, p51d.dp, p51d.cdp, and p51d_check.cfg

to the Mustan16 directory (for Big Beautiful Doll)and renamed them
Mustan16.air, Mustan16.dp, etc.. for the aircraft.cfg file, I changed
title=North American P-51D Mustang to title=P-51D Big Beautiful Doll, and
changed sim=p51d to sim=Mustan16. I did the same for Jumpin' Jacques.

Now these p-51's fly great and fire the correct armament. The only problem is
when you view the plane from outside while firing the guns, the muzzle flashes
come from in front of and above the wing. I have no clue how to fix this, but
people seem to be figuring this stuff out pretty quick. Good luck, and happy

Not sure how to change it correctly but it is in the DP file in the plane's
main folder

After your installation of the FS98 P-51s into CFS, do you get a visual
obstruction when looking to the sides from inside the cockpit of those planes?

Stan, unfortunately you do, however, today there was an update of Big Beautiful
Doll uploaded to this site which has a sliding canopy and less of an
obstruction to the sides.
