But the problem had nothing to do at all with my ATi Rage Graphics card..
As I posted earlier,
I actaully realised that for some reason, my panel transparency flg in the
CFS.cfg file was set to false, this meaning, all the fs98 panels' window
regions would be covered up. Changed the flag from 1 (true) to 0 (false), and
the problem was solved... I hope this helps anyone else with the same problem..
there is no reason to immediatly blame expensive hardware!
BTW, for those of you who are venturesome, the CombatFS.cfg file, and the
Quickcombat config file, qc_plane.qcb, (add custom planes for enemies) are very
interesting files, and can be used to change the program easily.
